An explosion of colour.

This is my little Saturday night experiment :')
My partner is currently working nights and so when he goes off to work I occupy myself by baking cake and experimenting with decorating etc.
This cake has layers of multi coloured sponge inside it, is covered with white fondant and decorated with lots of miniature smarties.
Saturday night experiment was a success I think :)

Smarties & swirls.

More miniature cupcakes just like the ones seen below but with smarties instead of edible pearls :')

Just one bite and they're gone.

Miniature cupcakes :)
These I baked one evening whilst in my new house as I wanted to experiment with my home-made piping bag & miniature cupcake cases. I'm pretty happy with how they turned out as they're quite cute :)

Happy Birthday Nan!

This is the cake I baked for my Grandmother's seventieth birthday. It was a massive surprise for her as she'd told me earlier in the year that she'd never once had a birthday cake. This made me feel so horrid inside, knowing that nobody had taken the time when she was a child to give her that something special, although as I later found out, this was because she was from a very humble family who saved their money for more important and higher priority needs. Me and my family took my Grandmother out for a meal (I managed to sneak this cake in and get the kitchen staff to hide it for me), when everybody had finished their main courses and were sat contemplating dessert, I announced that I had to go to the bathroom. My whole family knew that this was a code for 'I'm going to get the cake, make it look like you're interested in the pudding menus'. Needless to say that when I came back from my 'toilet break', carrying this special love-filled cake, my Grandmothers eyes welled with tears, as did my own. There's simply nothing better than being able to make someone's special day even more special with a personalised gift.
This is a layered sponge, covered with royal icing and decorated using fondant icing.
I would charge roughly between £8-£10 for something like this.

Ho ho ho and a merry chocolate overdose to you.

This a yuletide/Christmas log that I made last year, to be enjoyed between a lovely family I know and am very close with.
It's a chocolate Swiss roll inside the outer layer of chocolate butter-cream icing and decorations.
I think the photo explains this one on it's own; it makes me hungry just looking at it!

Celebrating with a bang.

This was a cake I created for a friend of mines' daughter's thirteenth birthday. She specified that it had to be something pink, with flowers and plenty of decoration. I don't think this cake was quite what she expected, but upon delivery, she was amazed at the creativity and imagination.
This is a two tiered cake (for this I would charge £8), each tier is a different colour of sponge on the inside. It is decorated in royal and fondant icing with decorations made from fondant icing and applied to the cake using edible cake glue. I also added little balls of icing around the bottom and center of the cake to give it some added colour to break up from the huge amount of pink on this cake. In between each flour is a line of green icing, shaped to look like the stems of the flowers. The candles are sparkling candles that flicker and the big light is a cake firework. This was the part my customers' daughter was most impressed with and boasted to her friends about it for a rather long time afterwards.
Although this photo doesn't do the cake justice, I do have to admit that it was beautiful upon delivery, but five minutes after the candles had been blown out it had been demolished! Always a good sight for my eyes to see.

Spreading love and lemon.

These were cupcakes that I baked for my family, just to spread a little love... And lemon, of course!
The chocolate ones are made with chocolate sponge, a chocolate icing glaze and I also made 'hearts on sticks' which is a chocolate heart on a piece of wire (perfectly safe to use within baking).
The yellow ones are all lemon flavoured sponge. The cupcake with the pure yellow top has yellow icing with a little added fresh lemon juice and silver edible glitter. The yellow ones with the patterns on are vanilla flavoured sponge, with white icing flavoured with fresh lemon juice and triangles of lemon halves sweets.
Feel free to leave me comments about any cake images that I post.

This is my face...

So, this is me.
I'm Georgia-Mai and I have a passion for baking and decorating cakes for many different occasions. I often make personalized cakes for family and friends. I do charge a small fee, but my cakes are cheaper than those bought from a supermarket, they're healthier because they're home-made and they're always personal to the client, no matter what the occasion, design or size. I also offer cupcakes in batches, also designed to the customers' preference. These are available in batches of 2, 4 or 6. I also do my best to cater for any allergy sufferers, although this will need to be pointed out upon request of an order so that I can find any alternatives you may wish to have used in place of the reactant ingredient. I offer many different styles of icing and decorating also.
I'm based in Worcester in the UK and I'm more than willing to deliver cakes upon order/request. Although pick up is also offered if this is more suitable to the customer.
I've listed my prices below to give a basic outline of what I charge and my contact details will be below these charges.
